Canucks win 5th straight!

The Canucks beat the Minnesota Wild 4-2 on Tuesday night at GM Place. Only a couple hours after Burrow's signed a 4- year contract extension he exploded on the ice with two goals including a game winner. Also just before that game the Minnesota Wild goalie signed a 6 million- 4 year deal. He definitely did not show that he was worth that in tonights game. The 2nd, third and fourth line really helped the Canucks win tonight. Demitra had a nice goal and Sundin got another assist and so did Kesler, so maybe that line is going to start going on another groove. If they did, that would really help the Canucks in the long stretch and continuing into the playoffs. The Canucks dominated in the last 40 minutes and the "Burrows Story" has now become a reality.

CBC says that Burrows had just signed a four year contract extension and he is definitely showing that he is worth it. Burrows has come a long way since he was in the ECHL and now he is exceeding expectations in the NHL. The Canucks finally got some secondary scoring that they needed and if they keep that up they will definitely have a good chance of getting into the playoffs and going deep in the playoffs.

A player like Burrows can be so valuable to a hockey club. He brings energy and enthusiasm to every game and because he puts 150% into every shift, his energy rubs onto his teammates. His energy not only affects him in a good way; it affects everyone in a good way. Burrows has been a solid contribution to the Canucks this year and i definitely do not think that they would be in the position they are in now if he was not on the team. He is a great team player and energy booster.

I think that CBC is talking about how Burrows has signed that huge deal with the canucks. That is very good because we need to secure a good grit guy like that and he also has a lot of talent. He has showed his true skill in the past couple of games and I think that Vancouver fans will love to have "Alexandre The Great" still around. The wild gave up a two goal lead after they got it with only using 3 minutes of the first period. The wild are usually very good at protecting the lead but the Canucks kept preserving and fought back to win.
